Social media went abuzz after Sarkodie released a song titled ‘Oofeetso’ on November 23, 2019.

Many described the song, which features Prince Bright of Buk Bak fame, as a ‘diss’ directed at Shatta Wale.

However, Prince Bright has refuted the claim that ‘Oofeetso’ is a diss song targeted at Shatta Wale.

Sarkodie and Shatta Wale have been at loggerheads since 2018 after Sarkodie dissed the singer in a freestyle titled ‘My Advice’.

‘Oofeetso’ has lyrics some fans argue are direct responses to certain statements Shatta Wale made in times past.

In an interview on TV3, Prince explained that the song was birthed following comments some persons have been making him in his absence.

“The song is actually in relation to me. You do good, they’ll bash you; you don’t do good, they’ll bash you,” he said.

The member of Buk Bak music group added that he won’t dent his reputable brand by recording a diss song.

Prince Bright indicated that based on how he reveres his late group member, Rooney Coaches, nothing will move him to attack a personality who was loved and appreciated by the deceased.

“Shatta Wale is Ronney’s man and you know how much I love Ronney. Shatta is family. I will look stupid to hurt Shatta Wale for my starters,” he said. “I started this thing out of love so why will I want to break something I created out of love for this past 22 years in the game. I will not use just 5 minutes to mess up everything I’ve worked so hard for.”

While some are applauding Prince Bright for his amazing verse on the song, others feel he shouldn’t have featured on Sarkodie’s supposed ‘diss’ song.
