Hiplife grandpap, Reginald Yaw Asante Ossei, better known as Reggie Rockstone, has asserted that he is old school and awards are not really his thing.
Speaking to Dr. Cann in a phone interview on Showbiz Xtra , Reggie revealed he is not very much into awards although he does appreciate them.
Rockstone said, “I’m old school. During my time, if you put out a song and people love and patronize it a lot, that’s all the award you need. If you go somewhere and people are happy when your song is played, that’s your award”.
However, he was quick to add that, he has received many awards, so many that he cannot remember or keep count.
“I’m not much of an awards guy. I appreciate it and I am grateful, but I am more about the people”, the legend added.
Reggie Rockstone, was honoured with the Outstanding Achievement Award at the just ended 2020 edition of the 3music awards.
