After several allegations of song theft against Kuami Eugene, the singer says he is no longer perturbed by these claims.

The Lynx Entertainment artiste has been accused a number of times of ‘stealing’ melodies and lyrics belonging to other artistes.

His popular tune titled ‘Confusion’ was said to have been a sample of Malian musician, Sidiki Diabaté’s 2016 hit single, ‘Fais moi Confiance’.

Reports indicated that Kuami Eugene did not obtain permission to sample the song from the artiste in Mali.

In the singer’s song titled ‘Wish Me Well’, he also again accused of ‘stealing’ lines from Nigeria’s Ice Prince.

Lines from the Ice Prince’s “Juju” and “In The Morning” were said to have been sampled by Kuami Eugene without permission.

Even an underground artiste in Ghana, Docta Flow, accused Kuami Eugene of ‘stealing’ his lines from a song they did together before Kuami Eugene’s breakthrough.

After all these allegations and counter-responses from Kuami Eugene, the artiste said in an interview on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz, that he is no longer perturbed.

‘It is so sad….It doesn’t get to me anymore. It used to get to me. I used to think about people are home and speculating….’,Kuami Eugene stated.

According to Kuami Eugene, no artiste owns words and that every artiste is free to use any word.

The artiste said he has stopped explaining his actions because a lot of people who accuse him don’t have knowledge about music.
