Ghanaian gospel musician, Joe Mettle, has asked parents to invest in the talents of their wards.

According to the artiste, it’s about time parents pay more attention to the talents of their wards.

He explained that even though it is very important for them to go to school and reach the highest level they can attain, it is imperative for their parents to help them and invest in their talents which could be anything at all.

Mr Mettle gave this advice in a virtual meeting of kids of the Perbi Cubs Library Services in Accra.

Perbi Cubs Library Services is an evidence-based literacy-promoting endeavour that desires to see an enlightened people of African descent, who are a product of an enviable national culture of leisure reading.

The Perbi Cubs aims to nurture well-rounded children using their “Lions Inspire Cubs” programme and the reading track and activities based on the GES Curriculum.

He added that despite knowing his calling at a tender age, he still went ahead to pursue a degree in Marketing because education is very necessary.

“ln pursuing all these, young people should always have their eyes fixed on God.

“I knew that I was called to sing at the age of 10 and since then I did my best to nurture that talent.”
