Ghanaian rapper, Joey B has come under fire from other celebrities for not defending the Ghanaian music industry after a radio presenter in Nigeria disrespected the industry.
Joey B and music producer, GuiltyBeatz were on Beatz Fm in Nigeria to promote the former’s latest song which features Nigerian rapper Falz.
The radio presenter, however, took the interview to a whole new level when he descended heavily on the Ghanaian music industry and disgracing the industry.
The host made a string of allegations, the key of which was issues that emerged from the recently held Cardi B concert in Accra. According to him, Ghanaian musicians had a discouraging attitude towards activities held bu Nigerians in Ghana.

He further went on to discuss rumours of the disapproval by Ghanaians towards stakeholders of the Nigerian music industry making inroads in Ghana
Ghanaian celebrities have since come hard for both Joey B and GuiltyBeatz for simply refusing to put the radio presenter right and defend an industry they both stemmed from.
Failure on their part to defend their country in the course of a radio interview made Medikal and Yvonne Nelson lambast them.
Joey, come on!!!! You should have said something. Come on! @1RealJoeyB @GuiltyBeatz

The beat FM, I’m very disappointed in y’all for speaking ill about my country’s music ! Ghanaians have hosted great shows in the past few years and Nigerian artistes can attest to that because some of them are mostly billed to perform ! https://t.co/iNgondVjAK

Some Ghanaians also found Joey’s inability to say anything in his defence alarming;
