Actor and politician, John Dumelo, is hopeful of great achievements in the coming year, 2020.
The National Democratic Congress’ Ayawaso West Wuogon parliamentary candidate is very optimistic of winning the seat in next year’s election.
He got the nod to lead the party in the constituency after a resounding victory during the NDC primaries this year.
In an interview with JoyNews, John Dumelo stressed that through hard work and smart work, he will clinch the keenly contested seat for the NDC.
‘2020 will be great. What I know about 2020 is that it is a lot of hard work and smart work. You can work hard but if you don’t work smart, you will not be able to achieve your goals’
‘It is an election year and going into it as a parliamentary candidate, I am hoping that I will win the seat through hard work and smart work’, he said.
Assessing 2019. the actor described the year which is almost drawing to a close as exceptional.
‘I think 2019 has been exceptional just like any other year. But I think 2019 has been good most especially because I won the primaries in August. For me that is the high point for me’, he revealed.
John Dumelo also disclosed that he finds time to act in movies despite pursuing his political goals.
