Until the end of the 2023 football season, Jose Mourinho has been appointed as the new head coach of the Tottenham team.
The former Chelsea and Manchester United, who left Old Trafford in December, replaces Mauricio Pochettino, who was sacked on Tuesday by his boss.
Negotiations were concluded in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
The agreement between Jose Mourinho and the Spurs has been on the table for a while and only intensified over the last few days.
Mauricio Pochettino was sacked after the club won just five matches all season and placed 14th on the Premier league table.
Chairman of the Spurs, Daniel Levy said he was “reluctant” to sack the Argentine, but explained the decision had to be made in the “club’s best interests.”
Jose Mourinho has his work cut out for him, as Spurs travel to take on West Ham in the Premier League at the London Stadium on Saturday.
