Actress Juliet Ibrahim has called for the arrest of self-acclaimed counsellor George Lutterodt after his comments about sexual violence against women went viral.
He had, during a program on Adom TV, said rape victims enjoy the act at a point despite the lack of consent to their offenders from the beginning.
Lutterodt triggered outrage among Ghanaians on social media as many condemned him for the insensitive nature of his comment.
“YES! He is fueling Rape culture and sexual violence!” Juliet Ibrahim wrote on Twitter Wednesday in support of her colleague Ama K. Abebrese.
“This is clear case of a Rapist who’s sending out a direct message to the general public that Rape is okay. “
She stated emphatically that “he must be arrested and used as a scapegoat”.
Movie star Ama K. Abebrese had previously called out Lutterodt over his remarks.
She took to her Instagram page to admonish media houses to ignore him whiles labelling him as a non-registered counsellor.
