Actor and comedian Richard Kweku Asante popularly known as Kalybos has declined to confirm or deny his endorsement of Akufo-Addo’s re-election bid.
Many have claimed that Kalybos has subtly declared his support for the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) presidential candidate.
In several photos, the comedian together with Prince David Osei, BismarkTheJoke and Jeneral Ntatia are seen raising a finger each to represent Akufo-Addo’s first position on the ballot paper.
In an interview with Sammy Kay, Kalybos kept declining to provide direct answers to questions about his endorsement.
Earlier, Prince David Osei said he feels as a responsible youth, he needs to advise people who look up to him to make the right choice.
Clearly stating reasons why he has reached this decision, the actor said Akufo-Addo is a better president with good governance.
He listed Free SHS, Free water and subsidised electricity, digitization of the economy, among other things that the Government has done which is benefiting us all as reasons why they should be voted for again.
Prince David Osei in his submission also mentioned that Mahama has ruled Ghana as a Vice President and a President and comparing his works to that of Akufo-Addo, he’s greatly convinced that the latter deserves a second term.
