Ghanaian forward Kevin-Prince Boateng says he would like to end his football career at where it all started, Hertha Berlin.
The 33-year-old began his professional career at the German club in 2004 and has gone on to play for 11 clubs including Barcelona, AC Milan, Tottenham and Dortmund.
He currently plays for Besiktas in Turkey, having joined them in January on loan from Fiorentina.
According to Boateng, he has got what it takes to play at the highest level for more than three years before he hangs up his boot.
“For sure I was doing more when I was young, but today I have the advantage of experience. I have played many games in my career from God, people have in my eyes the goal for Barcelona or the hat-trick of Lecce. I can still play in the best clubs in the world: some days I am tired, others I don’t feel like it, but in my head, I am stronger than many others. Today I say I can do two more seasons at a high level: then there will be one or three, it will depend on many factors “.
He added: “I would like to end my career at Hertha Berlin, it all started there. To end with applause in the midfield at the Olympiastadion is my goal. But if you ask me where I would like to go back, I will say to Milan, always and only there.”
Boateng five trophies thus far in his career.
