Lynx Entertainment signee, Kuami Eugene has announced his plans to embark on an African tour to promote his new album, ‘Son of Africa’.
The ‘Angela‘ hitmaker, speaking at the conference to announce the tour said:
“The Son of Africa album is just to enlighten and to prove to Africans what highlife music is actually about.You can attest to it that my first album, rock star did so good. We took album of the year and did so many great exploits with it. This time around I am trying to do something which does not represent Ghana, but represents the whole of Africa. “
Mark Okraku Mantey, President of the Creative Arts Council, also speaking at the launch of the tour, said Kuami’s initiative was a laudable idea, because our hopes to penetrate the international market will only be fruitful after we have covered our own home.
The ‘Son of Africa’ tour is expected to take the artiste to eight African countries, starting with Lome, Togo on May 8th and ending in Libreville, Gabon on August 16th.
