Rapper Guru says Kuami Eugene did not deserve 2020 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards ‘Artiste of the Year’ crown.
The ‘Lapaz Toyota’ hitmaker has been ranting online after the award was handed over to the Lynx Entertainment signee.
Kuami Eugene beat competition from Diana Hamilton, Medikal, Sarkodie and Kofi Kinaata to grab the ultimate prize.
However, Guru believes that Sarkodie deserved to win ‘Artiste of the Year’ and not Kuami Eugene.
The musician, who was shocked about the outcome, revealed he threw his support behind Sarkodie, hoping that he would win.
Guru in a tweet insisted that the organizers and the winner give the award back to the Sarkcess Music boss.
After ranting, Guru congratulated Kuami Eugene for winning the ultimate prize.
