Ghanaian artist Patapaa says his colleague Kuami Eugene is not a Highlife artist.
The ‘One Corner’ hit maker seems not to have gotten over his beef with the ‘Angela’ hit maker and currently throwing more jabs at him.
Kuami Eugene in an interview on GHOne TV about a year ago said that he wouldn’t have collaboration with Patapaa beacuse his colleague’s music is noise.
Patapaa reacted to his comment and stated that he was deeply hurt.
He went further to record a diss song directed at Kuami Eugene.
In a lastet interview on Happy 98.9 FM with DJ Advicer, Patapaa downplayed Kuami Eugene’s claim of being a Highlife musician.
Patapaa insisted that Kuami Eugene is not a highlife artiste “but just sings for the ladies”.
He added that Highlife songs carry vital messages but the trait is missing in Kuami Eugene’s songs.
Patapaa said the only highlife artists he knows are Akwaboah and Kofi Kinaata.
