Popular Ghanaian actor Kwaku Manu claims some producers in Kumawood planned to ‘kill’ his career.
According to him, they plotted evil against him because they had a selfish interest to accomplish.
Explaining further, he stated that the plan of the producers was to make him irrelevant so Lil Win will become very popular.
He said the plan was orchestrated at a time when he was vibrant and on top of his acting game.
Kwaku Manu recalled he was paired with Kwadwo Nkansah Lil Win before they attempted the plot against him.
Kwaku Manu said he learnt from Agya Koo’s similar experience and decided not to rely only on acting for his livelihood.
He admits that Lilwin is on top of his game but stressed that he was sidelined because of his colleague.
“People sat and sidelined me….because of personal interest. I am still Kwaku Manu. The Film Producers Association of Ghana (FIPAG) sidelined me after I returned from America”, he said in the Twi language in an interview with ZionFelix.
Kwaku Manu added that some producers decided not to use him after he travelled to the United States of America in 2011.
The actor said his activeness on social media and the support of a few producers has helped him.
