Highlife singer, Kwabena Kwabena has opened up on his unsuccessful stint with record label, Loggy Entertainment.
According to the artiste, the label’s activities are fraudulent because they failed to sign a proposed two-year contract after an official announcement of their collaboration.
Kwabena Kwabena and Loggy Entertainment held a press conference to announce their partnership in November 2018.
However, the singer told Andy Dosty on DaybreakHitz on Hitz FM that the record label owned by Papa Loggy refused to document their conditions and terms of work in a contact.
‘’I see it as fraud. I can call it fraud. Because they came, sugarcoated words, they lured us and then it got to a point they cannot come out with their part of the bargain’
‘’There was no contract. From our part we didn’t do our due diligence in terms of the credibility of the label…We were ready with the ‘Tokro’ single and they came in. We all agreed to let it go so that we can do the proper documentation after we launch ‘Tokro’. After we launched ‘Tokro’ we realized that the management actually is not forthcoming with the agreement….So we realized that they only wanted to come and ride on our beautiful song’’, he said.
The singer also claimed that Loggy Entertainment wants to forcibly benefit from his 15-year career.
Kwabena Kwabena, however, admitted that Loggy Entertainment financed the production of his ‘Tokro’ music video in 2018.
When Papa Loggy was called on the show to respond to the claims by Kwabena Kwabena, he denied the allegations.
According to the C.E.O of Loggy Entertainment, Kwabena Kwabena rather refused to avail himself to sign the two-year contract that was agreed.
