The cause of death of former Despite Group employee, Kwadwo Wiafe Annor, has been disclosed by the Peace FM Management team.
According to management, Waife died of COVID-19.
According to Asaaseradio.com, a member of the Peace FM Management team confirmed this.
It says, Wiafe was initially receiving treatment at home for the disease, however, his condition deteriorated prompting the family to take him to the hospital.
He added that the late host who had no underlining chronic illness was generally fit, however, the infection took a worse turn and he started showing serious symptoms of the disease.
“That was when he was moved to the Airport Residential Area branch of Nyaho,” the report stated. Unfortunately, the 33-year-old vibrant media personality and professional MC died on June 4, 2020.
Following his demise, the management of Peace FM has greatly stepped up their health and safety protocols at their premises.
Kwadwo Wiafe is set to be buried on July 4.
