Kwahu Traditional Council calls off Kwahu Easter festivities

This year’s Kwahu Easter festivities has been called off, due to the presence of the novel Coronavirus disease in Ghana.

Following the directive from the President that all public gatherings be called off, the Kwahu Traditional Council has cancelled this year’s Easter festivities.

In a letter sighted, the Kwahu Traditional Council states that as a way of helping to curb the spread of the deadly coronavirus has cancelled all activities in the traditional area.

Government of Ghana has currently placed a ban on all social gatherings of people exceeding 25, this came after the country recorded its 6th confirmed case of the Coronavirus.
