According to reports, the two men were not only landlord and tenant but also close friends and long-time colleagues, making the incident all the more baffling.

An eyewitness, Enoch Idan Danquah, who spoke with Onua News, noted that the landlord was unhappy with how Agyemang had been handling his electricity bill payments.

Koranteng reportedly invited Agyemang to his room to discuss the matter. During the conversation, the landlord allegedly drew a machete and fatally stabbed his tenant.

The 50-year-old landlord, who is also a father of five, fled the scene immediately after the attack.

The case has been reported to the police, and investigations are ongoing.
