UK-based Ghanaian artiste, Fuse ODG, is campaigning for the legalization of prostitution in Ghana.

According to the singer, there is nothing wrong with the act that has been condemned by many.

‘Yes. I would say yes. Legalize it.’, he said in an interview on Joy FM with Mamavi.

The artiste believes that sex workers need to be protected by the government because having sexual intercourse must not be considered a crime.

‘Legalize the work that these women are doing to protect them. I feel like they deserve protection. It is their body’, he said.

‘You are saying sex is not wrong. I feel like Ghanaians are so scared to talk about sex’, he continued.

The singer further highlighted his campaign in his recent song titled ‘Osu’ which features Toy Boi.

Fuse ODG said that he has been reading about prostitution and he has come to the conclusion that the act is not wrong though it is illegal in Ghana.

The artiste wants legislators in Ghana to revisit the law and make prostitution legal.
