Award-winning Ghanaian movie producer and director, Leila Djansi has hailed President Nana Addo’s world-class ambulances which saved her sister’s life.
According to her, the ambulance’s high-class equipments saved the life of her sister.
Taking to Twitter, Leila Djansi wrote:
Much appreciation to Ghana’s President @NAkufoAddo for the Ghana National Ambulance service. A fully equipped vehicle complete with monitors, resuscitation kits and professional staff. Def world standard. Saved my sister. Thank you! Hope the hospitals also become as equipped.

The president on the 28th of January commissioned 307 ambulances procured by the government for distribution to all constituencies in the country.
In his address, President Akufo-Addo announced that 112 would now be the new number for all emergency services.
“…The Police Service, the Fire Service and the National Ambulance Service all had emergency response numbers. I am happy to announce that thankfully, we have merged all emergency numbers to one number which is 112,” he said.
