Public Relations Officer for actor Lil Win, Okyeame Akwaada Nyame, has taken a swipe at Ola Micheal for saying Lil Win knows nothing about filmmaking.
According to Ola Michael, who is a movie producer, some actors cannot be described as filmmakers.
The movie producer said on Neat FM that Lil Win came in the industry begging and he was even taking GH¢20 as payment.
He stated Mr Jackson Bentum kept on begging directors and producers to give Lil Win roles—but he has abandoned him after he got fame and money.
Ola Michael mocked Lil Win for saying he was going to revive the movie industry.
The movie producer argued that Lil Win doesn’t know anything about filmmaking.
In response, Akwaada Nyame stated that Ola Micheal has no right to say Lil Win has not got the expertise to be an executive film producer.
The PRO addressed the issue in a long Facebook post.
“In films, the executive producer generally contributes to the film’s budget and their involvement depends on the project, with some simply securing funds and others involved in the filmmaking process.
“So the Executive Producer is not the story writer or the director but secures funds for the Project.
“And on the matter of if cocoa season can help revive the movie industry. Bro, even the online Short films on YouTube have made the movie industry stable and if not for that some actors and actresses won’t be heard”,
