The Love Aid Foundation has donated an undisclosed amount of money to the Mawuleme Movement to support its efforts to promote environmental cleanliness and sanitation in the Ho Municipality.
Madam Princess Lovia Tetteh, Chief Executive Officer of the Foundation, said the donation was in recognition of the work being undertaken by the Mawuleme Movement to keep the environment clean, safe and healthy.
She commended the Movement for its commitment to improving sanitation and beautifying communities within the municipality.
Madam Tetteh also pledged to donate dustbins to support the Mawuleme Movement’s Eco Brigade activities in 14 basic schools in the Ho Municipality.
She said the provision of the dustbins would help promote proper waste disposal among pupils and encourage the development of good sanitation habits from an early age.
Madam Tetteh stated that the Foundation remained committed to supporting initiatives that contributed to environmental protection and improved sanitation in communities.
Mr Selase Avornu, Operations Manager of the Mawuleme Movement, who received the donation on behalf of the organisation, expressed gratitude to the Love Aid Foundation for the support.
He said the contribution would help strengthen the Movement’s sanitation activities and enhance its efforts to address environmental challenges within the municipality.
Mr Avornu appealed to individuals, organisations and institutions to support the Movement’s environmental initiatives to help create a cleaner, safer and healthier Ho Municipality.
He reaffirmed the Movement’s commitment to promoting environmental sustainability and community participation in sanitation programmes.
