Mfantsipim School contestants at NSMQ2020 unable to spell school’s name

This year’s National Science and Maths Quiz seems to be on to a hot start as surprises are already springing up.

The National Science & Maths Quiz 2020 is a platform where senior high schools in Ghana show off their prowess with the main objective to promote the study of the sciences and mathematics.

Losing unceremoniously to Kumasi Academy was not the only disgrace Mfantsipim School faced today.

The heat of the competition had their contestants spelling the name of the school as ‘Mfanstipim school’ instead of ‘Mfantsipim School’ on the marker board during the word problem of the day segment.

Kumasi Academy finished slayed the Kwabotwe boys with 53 points while St. Mary’s ended the contest with 30 points.

The competition is still going strong and favourites such as Adisadel College, St Peter’s Senior High, Wesley Girls High School continue in the race to win the coveted NSMQ cup.
