Film Producers’ Association of Ghana (FIPAG) says Samuel Nyamekye of Miracle Films Productions is becoming a devil in the operations of the association.

According to FIPAG’s Communications Director, Mawule Ekpe Peter (ABRO), the boss of Miracle Films is sabotaging FIPAG’s leadership and destroying everything they try to put together .

The Communications Director also said Samuel Nyamekye has accused leadership of collecting money from the chief and elders of Sekyere to make sure the national film village is built in Sekyere, rather than Kunsu or Hemang.

He made these remarks on United Showbiz on UTV with Nana Ama McBrown.

When Samuel Nyamekye was called in to respond, he denied ever making such allegations and promised never to talk about any issue involving the industry.

Mawule Ekpe Peter said he was very surprised by Samuel Nyamekye’s response and will never again regard him as a reverend minister and a man of God.

“You know what, Mr Nyamekye is a liar. from today I will never believe him as a man of God, never in my life, never, if he can deny this on a big platform like this”

”Nana you know what, I am highly disappointed, he is the problem of FIPAG, anything we decide to build, he tries all his possible best to destroy it, I have evidence to support my claims and will disclose it wherever he calls me, but not again in our administration, we will not concentrate on him again,” he said.

Meanwhile, the Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Barbara Oteng Gyasi has stated that government is yet to decide on the exact location for the film village in the Ashanti Region.
