Ghanaian highlife musician Akwaboah has revealed that most musicians are not what they sing about. He said, most musicians who sing romantic songs are not as romantic as they sing about in their songs.
Disclosing this in an interview, he noted that, most musicians were not lucky with love and hence tend to suffer in relationships. The reason they end up with children from different women.
According to him, the people who write the perfect romantic and pamper ladies in their music videos do not do that in real life.
He went on to say, “Most artistes are not as perfect as what they sing about. We might be talking about a forever love affair in our songs but in real life, we are suffering in our relationships because of this perception, people presume we are the best to be with.
“But when they come into our lives and realize we are different from our songs or not the perfect guy in the music they end up breaking up,” he said.
The highlife musician added that he recently had to part ways with his baby mama because he was having issues.
