Actor James Gardiner has finally broken his silence on his viral “amazing” video at the 2020 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).

Social media trolled the Ghanaian actor for his obsession with the word ‘amazing’ when he hosted the red carpet.

James did a good job interviewing attendees at the event which took place at the Grand Dome in Accra.

Aside from looking dapper and entertaining to watch, fans took a special interest in his use of the adjective ‘amazing’.

It’s been reported that James Gardiner used the word ‘amazing’ 27 times on the VGMA red Carpet.

James Gardiner said although he repeatedly used the word, he added that they were trivial and not as serious as his critics make it appear.

In an interview with Abeiku Santana, the actor slammed critics who alleged that he used the word amazing 27 times.

He further added that he used different vocabularies during the red carpet event.

“I used different vocabularies during the red-carpet show, but I admit it was a mistake. I goof a little on camera. I didn’t goof 27 times as claimed. Those viral videos were edited,” he said.

James Gardiner is optimistic of hosting another red carpet session at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
