The former participant of the MTN Hitmaker reality show, Yaw Berk, has said, he realises his insubordination to the renowned sound engineer, Kaywa has negatively affected his music career.
Yaw embarked on a warpath with Kaywa, who was his boss at the time and says that particular action against the respected industry player has taken a great toll on his career as a musician.
Kaywa a judge of the MTN Hitmaker show, also doubles as the CEO of Highly Spiritual Music. He is a renowned sound engineer and is responsible for an uncountable number of hits in the country.
Yaw Berk made this remorseful remark in an interview, saying, “The problem between Kaywa and I really affected me. Not only musically but mentally as well. The promotion of my music suffered largely.”
“On his authority, people who were supporting my music stopped. They all felt I was not being appreciative of the label I was signed under.”
Yaw also took the opportunity to render an unreserved apology to Kaywa.
