Renowned gospel musician, Yaw Sarpong, is set to feature more secular artists on his next studio album to be released soon.
The veteran musician shocked many when he featured secular rapper Sarkodie in one of his songs this year.
In an interview on Class 91.3 FM, the “Wo How Ne Sen” singer revealed that Stonebwoy, Sarkodie, Kofi Kinaata and Amakye Dede will feature on his next album.
“I have an upcoming album which includes Sarkodie, Kofi Kinaata and Stonebwoy”, he disclosed.
According to the musician, his fellow gospel musicians like Joe Mettle, Kwaku Gyasi, Patience Nyarko and Joyce Blessing will also make appearances on the project.
Yaw Sarpong said he is currently in the studio with veteran highlife musician Amakye Dede recording a song together.
He noted that the album should have been ready for the market by now but for the coronavirus pandemic.
“The album would have been ready by now but because of coronavirus but everything depends on my management and I obey whatever they will say,” he added.
Yaw Sarpong stressed that he does not discriminate but listens to all genre of music ,thus, his decision to include some secular acts on his album.
