One of Honourable Aponkye’s key supporters, Nana Aba Anamoah, has shared a telephone conversation she had with Honourable after his big defeat.
Aponkye lost miserably in the District Assembly and Unit Committee elections and this has left the entire nation in shock.
Honourable Aponkye was very displeased with the outcome of the elections and even threatened to take legal action if his request for a re-run of the election was not honoured by the electoral commission. This is because he believes he was cheated in the elections.
However, Nana Aba managed to console Honourable and went ahead to convince him to gracefully accept defeat and congratulate his opponent.
It may be recalled that Honourable Aponkye became even more popular in Ghana after Nana Aba hosted him on her show, ‘State of Affairs.’
Aponkye had a long list of campaign promises for his constituents but somehow failed to convince them to vote for him.
