Nana Ainoo-Kwagyan spurs western under 19 football team on to victory in Prampram

The Chairman for the Western Regional Football Association (WRFA) Under-19 Team, Nana Ainoo-Kwagyan, has encouraged the team to display all the skills at their disposal to emerge victorious as they gear up for the football tournament at Prampram in the Greater Accra Region. 

He was speaking to Ghana News Agency ahead of the football fiesta which would feature all the 16 Regions of Ghana in a keen competition. 

He said “it is not over until it is over” adding that management has liaised with the technical team to provide them with the logistical, spiritual, material and moral support as well as local operational needs to spur them on to clinch victory for the Western Region. 

Nana Ainoo-Kwagyan who is the Chief of Esiama in the Ellembelle District, of the Western Region, told the GNA that the team was in high hopes to bring the football trophy home. 

The event also coincided with the outdooring of their seven-day annual Kundum festival celebrations. 

The Chairman expressed optimism that the team would carry the day at the end of the tournament and stand tall to rub shoulders with other national teams in the coming years. 

He encouraged the players to go all out and display their unique soccer talents to bring the trophy home.
