US-Based Ghanaian artist, Archipalago has said he thinks the annual National Science & Maths Quiz is unimportant and students need to be taught other things.
In his opinion, students should be learning ways and means of making and investing money, instead of worrying them with ‘fofrosi’ syllabus of education.
He disclosed his opinion via a tweet.
Archipalago wrote: “All these Nation Maths and Science Quiz no dey need dem for teach them how to make money, invest and all that and stop these frofosi syllabus”.
One follower of his who disagree with his opinion replied: ‘The concept of Education is to teach students how to be innovative and be inventive, thereby using that imaginative thinking to earn income. Don’t say what you don’t know Please.”
