NDC announces 3-day fasting and prayers ahead of Dec. 7 polls

The largest opposition party in Ghana, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has announced three days of fasting and prayer ahead of the December 7th elections.

The directive which starts on Thursday, December 3, will be climaxed by a special service on Friday, and Saturday by the Muslim and Christian community respectively.

National Chairman of the party, Samuel Ofosu Ampofo in a communique sent out noted this was a move to seek God’s face and his intervention in the upcoming general elections.

“It is imperative that as a Party, we call once again for God’s intervention to buttress our hard work and determination to secure a resounding victory in the December 7 general elections, to the Glory of God Almighty,” part of the statement read.

This comes after the special voting exercise which came off December 1.
