The National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP) has officially launched its Adwumawura programme in the Oti Region.

The programme aims to empower local entrepreneurs, particularly the youth by providing them with the necessary skills, tools and support to start and grow their businesses.

The launch ceremony, which was attended by beneficiaries from all nine Municipal and District Assemblies (MDAs) in the Oti Region, marked the beginning of a new chapter in entrepreneurship development in the Region.

Participants underwent orientation and onboarding sessions, where they were introduced to the programme’s goals, benefits and implementation framework.

The Adwumawura programme is designed to provide participants with hands-on business management skills, innovation techniques, financial literacy and access to mentorship.

The programme’s implementers are confident that it will contribute significantly to the region’s economic transformation by creating a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem.

The Oti Regional Directorate of NEIP, Mr. Eric Gidisu, encouraged all participants to remain dedicated and committed to the programme, emphasizing that consistency and hard work would be key to their success.

With its strong focus on innovation, empowerment and inclusive growth, Mr. Gidisu said the Adwumawura programme would become a cornerstone for economic development in the Oti Region.
