President Akufo-Addo has appreciated rapper Sarkodie for endorsing his candidature ahead of the December 7 elections.
Sarkodie’s endorsement of President Akufo-Addo is heard on his collaboration with Kuami Eugene titled ”Happy Day”.
The song was released on November 2, and and it sent social media into a frenzy for hours.
On “Happy Day”, Sarkodie endorsed the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Akufo-Addo and asked that he be given a second term.
He also praised the president for keeping a stable supply of electricity as well as providing free Senior High School education.
Reacting to the song on his Twitter page, President Akufo-Addo decribed it as ‘nice’ and appreciated Sarkodie and Kuami Eugene.
”Nice song @sarkodie and @KuamiEugene. Indeed, the battle is still the Lord’s. #4MoreForNana”, he wrote.
