Sensational musician, Kidi has shared his two cents on the possibility of a Ghanaian winning a Grammy anytime soon.
Speaking in an interview, Kidi said, “We’re not close. We’re not. I mean that’s the truth. We’ll like to be close but we have a lot of work to do.”
He further added that “One of our challenges is getting a presence internationally. Getting to make a statement out there. We need to start to fix some internal issues and when we go out there we need to make a presence.”
Kidi concluded by saying it is a step by step process and Ghanaians will eventually get there, but we are not close enough yet.
