Erica Tandoh popularly known as DJ Switch says DJs should not be offended by her recognition as the ‘Best DJ of the Year’ at the just ended Ghana DJ Awards.
DJ Switch was adjudged ‘Best DJ of the Year’ at the 2019 Ghana DJ Awards on Saturday at the Accra International Conference Center.
She beat DJ Mic-Smith, DJ Vyrusky, DJ Sly, DJ Aroma and DJ Black to grasp the award.
Speaking on the Cosmopolitan Mix on Joy FM with Mamavi, DJ Switch said she does not feel the Award calls for competition among DJs.
‘I will plead with all the DJs that no one is a loser’, she said amid the backlash from the public.
The 11-year-old is however happy for the honour bestowed o her as the 2019 Ghana DJ Awards ‘DJ of the Year’.
‘This is not a competition. This is an honor and I am grateful for that’, she added.
DJ Switch grabbed two awards on the night; Best Female DJ and DJ of the Year.
