One of Ghana’s renowned gospel artistes, Isaiah Kwadwo Ampong better known as Great Ampong, has debunked reports that he said the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) has neglected him.
Speaking in an interview on Akoma FM, the artiste revealed that, contrary to reports, he hasn’t told anyone that the NPP has neglected him.
Speaking to the issue, the artiste said;
“I read the story too and didn’t get bothered to respond because one of Ghana’s former Presidents told me not respond to any story I hear about me if I know it isn’t true and due to that I have stayed mute when I heard that allegation,” he said.
The gospel musician further went ahead to explain that “I remember I granted an interview to one blogger and [he] just twisted the story and even brought my children in the conversation which wasn’t part.”
Great Ampong is currently promoting his newest single, – Corona Virus – which is dedicated to the deadly Covid-19 fight.
