Prolific Ghanaian rapper, Lukeman Ekow Baidoo [Teephlow] has labeled hiplife and rap legend Obrafour as the ‘Jay-Z’ of Ghanaian music and pop-culture.

Obrafour staged a concert at his boyhood neighbourhood dubbed ‘Back to Taifa Concert’ as a prelude to his ‘Pae Mu Ka at 20 concert’ slated for 9th November this year at the Accra International Conference Center to celebrating his two decades in the music industry.

Although the event clashed with Shatta Wale’s “Wonder Boy” album launch, it was not void of A-list celebrities and entertainers. A number of seasoned and up-and-coming artistes like Paa Dogo, Kwaw Kese, Tinny,Kofi B, Obibini, Ras Kuuku, D-Cryme, Keche, Guru, Cabum, Queen Haizel and a host of other musicians and media personalities were there to support him.

Teephlow was thrilled to be invited by his idol to perform to thousands of music lovers who thronged the concert.

Speaking to Joy News’ MzGee after his performance, Teephlow expressed his gratitude to Obrafour and his team for a well organised event. He went on to heap praises on his idol and rap legend.

“That is my Jay-Z. I definitely had to be a part of this concert. I congratulate every one involved in this especially the man himself, Obrafour.” Teephlow said.

Obrafour’s “Pae Mu Ka” concert which marks and celebrates the 20th anniversary of the release of his maiden album is scheduled to held at the Accra International Conference Center on 9th November of this year.
