Alfred Oko Vanderpuije, Former Mayor of Accra, has remarried after seven years of losing his first wife.
Mr Vanderpuije, Member of Parliament for Ablekuma South, engaged his fiance Cynthia Amerley Ayiku, at a solemn ceremony at Mamprobi in Accra on Thursday, December 5th, 2019.
Cynthia was adorned in a beautiful white and gold gown, while Oko Vanderpuije was adorned in a beautiful Kaftan and was full of smiles.
The former Mayor of Accra lost his first wife of 30 years, the late Gifty Naa Adei Vanderpuije, at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in June 2012.
Honourable Ras Mubarak, Member of Parliament for Kumbungu took to his Facebook page to congratulate his fellow member of parliament.
In his post, he said, “My dear brother and colleague, Hon. Alfred Oko Vanderpuije ties the knot this weekend. It’s never too late to love. “He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favour from the Lord.” Congratulations in advance.”
