Family of singer Jerry Anaba popularly known as Okomfour Kwadee was not happy that Fameye released a song to supposedly honour the great musician.
Fameye revealed this information in an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM on Friday.
The ‘Nothing I Get’ hit maker released the song in June 2020 and the tune received massive airplay.
However, Fameye has reveals that the family of the singer who is currently in a rehab centre, was not happy about the song.
He stated that he had to apologize to them for not seeking their permission before releasing the tune.
“I had to apologize to the family. They were not angry but they were not too cool with it. They didn’t like the fact I used his name and image, it would have been nice if I had made them aware and I couldn’t so I apologized”, he said
Fameye quickly added that he spoke to a supposed representative of the family but later realized the person did not have any authority.
