Police arrest 27 suspects including women in Christmas operation

The Savannah Regional Police Command has arrested twenty-seven individuals in a targeted Christmas season operation against narcotics.

The operation, conducted across the towns of Salaga, Damongo, Buipe, and Bole, led to the seizure of various quantities of drugs and leaves suspected to be Indian Hemp.

A statement issued by the Ghana Police Service and posted to its official Facebook page on Thursday, December 26, confirmed the arrests. The group of suspects includes both men and women.

The operation forms part of ongoing efforts by the Police Command to combat drug-related crime and ensure public safety during the festive period.
