President Akufo-Addo has tested negative for the deadly coronavirus that has become a global pandemic.
His wife, Rebecca Akufo-Addo and children have also tested negative for the novel coronavirus.
This was revealed by the President’s doctor, Dr. Tekyi-Mensah, at the Ministry of Information’s press conference on April 1, 2020.
There were reports that the president and some ministers had tested positive for the virus.
This rumors became rife after President Akufo-Addo returned from Norway in February.
The Health Minister of Ghana, Kwaku Agyemang-Manu, has also tested negative.
Some other ministers have also submitted blood samples for testing.
