Ghanaian Hip-hop artiste, Gemini Orleans has bemoaned the lack of recognition and appreciation he is getting in the industry.
He says though this is his problem now, he does not believe he is ever likely to do a danceable tune, to change the situation.
Gemini Orleans, speaking in an interview on Hitz FM said:
“The masses want to dance. My career has been challenging and I don’t see it stopping”.
Answering the question as to whether he feels rejected as a musician, He said:
“I don’t feel rejected by the industry. Rejected is harsh. The industry makes room for the spotlight. Everyone is trying to get in. But everyone doesn’t do the same kind of music. I see that as a limitation. Not rejection. “
