Some residents of Twifo Hemang in the Twifo Hemang-Lower-Denkyira District of the Central Region, have urgently called on the government to finish the Agenda 111 hospital project.
The facility is intended to serve as the district’s primary healthcare facility.
Currently, major medical cases are referred to the Twifo Atti- Morkwa- District Hospital .
The unfinished hospital, approximately 70 per cent complete, already has essential equipment, including air conditioners.
Mr Ofori Arthur and Mr Twum Barimah, who spoke on behalf of the community members stressed the importance of vital projects on the lives of the people, and implored the government to allocate resources for its completion.
Mr Patrick Fiable, the District Chief Executive for Twifo Hemang- Lower- Denkyira, in an interview, said the government had prioritised the hospital project to be completed by the end of the year.
He said the hospital, when completed, would serve the Twifo-Hemang-Lower Area to make health care accessible to all.
