Record label owner and former member of the now defunct music group “Ruff and Smooth”, Bullet, has revealed that his former music partner Ahkan refused to show up when the group was invited for a show in Holland.

Bullet made this revelation while speaking to Zionfelix on his “Uncut” show.

According to the Rufftown Records boss, the group fell apart many years ago when his partner decided to relocate to the states.

Bullet revealed that all his efforts to get Ahkan back to the country to promote their hit song at that time titled “Shabba” proved futile and had the shock of his life when Ahkan told him they should both focus on solo projects like R2Bees.

He said:

“Ahkan is not the cause of the disbandment but he brought the idea for us to do solo projects and up till now, I have not released any solo work.

“Recently, ruff and Smooth had a show in Holland and I told him we should go but he did not show up.

“So if you think about it, Ruff and smooth is no more because nothing is happening.”

When asked if a reunion is likely, Bullet revealed that even though he misses the good old days of rocking shows with Ahkan, he is doubtful that the group would ever get back together.
