Ghanaian Reggae and Dancehall act, Samini, is challenging his fellow Dancehall artist, Shatta Wale, to a music battle.
He makes this request amid the ongoing musical battle titled ‘Verzuz’ started in the United States.
The popular series initiated by producers Swizz Beatz and Timbaland, that began on Instagram at the start of the coronavirus lockdown, sees high-profile rappers, producers and singers facing off and playing highlights from their respective discographies.
Samini wants Shatta Wale to face him in the battle that will see the two show off their works dating back to the early 2000s.
Samini stressed that his call for a musical battle between him and Shatta Wale isn’t a competition for bragging rights instead, a celebration of their songs over time.

Shatta Wale, is yet to respond to the challenge thrown at him by his colleague artist Samini.
