News has made rounds time and again about the exit of Ghanaian singer and songwriter Akwaboah, from Sarkodie’s Sarkcess Music label.
The artist, Gladstorm Kwabena Akwaboah Jnr., better known as Akwaboah vehemently denies these rumours each time.
Well, the CEO of the label himself, Michael Owusu-Addo, better known as Sarkodie has finally confirmed Akwaboah’s exit.
Akwaboah is responsible for hits such as ‘Gansta Lover’, ‘Hye me bo’, ‘I do love you’, and 90% of the songs on Sarkodie’s ‘Mary’ album.
Speaking in a recent interview, Sarkodie confirmed Akwaboah no longer worked under his team or management. He was, however, quick to add that, his relationship with the artist will never change, despite this new development.
