Award winning Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie has finally received the plaque after winning BET’s Best International Flow award in 2019.
Sarkodie who is the first ever artiste to win the award was up against Falz (Nigeria), Ghetts (U.K), Kalash (France), Lil Simz (U.K), Nasty C (South Africa) and Tory Lanez (Canada) in the category.
The “Ofeetso” hitmaker after winning the award, used the opportunity to talk about Ghana and invite people at the ceremony to take a trip to Ghana as it is the year of return.
“I just want to say thank you to the Almighty God. To family, this one is for my lil girl Titi….
“I think Africa has always had it and it is about that time. This year is the Year of Return and I will urge each and every one of you here to take a trip back home,” he said.
In a video shared on instagram, Sarkodie announced to his fans that after months of waiting, he has finally received the plaque for the award.
He unboxed the package and thanked his fans for their continues support for his music and career.
