Ghanaian rap legend, Sarkodie’s new song “Happy Day” has made it to YouTube’s Afrobeats playlist.
The song which was released barely a week ago has gained a lot of popularity due to the ‘political’ controversy surrounding it.
The song “Happy Day” which Sarkodie recorded with Kuami Eugene has been alleged by many people, to be a campaign song for the president, Nana Akuffo Addo.
It even became more controversial after Kuami Eugene reportedly claimed that he was not aware of Sarkodie mentioning the president’s name until they went to shoot the music video.
Nevertheless, the song has enjoyed considerable airplay on mainstream media and now it’s getting a push online.
The song has been streamed more than 741K times since it was shared on YouTube 5 days ago.
