Ghanaian artiste Shatta Wale on Sunday, March 22, hosted a church service via his Twitter page for his fans and followers.
His initiative comes in the wake of the ban on all social gatherings in Ghana including religious activities due to the outbreak of Coronavirus.
The Dancehall artiste preached a sermon in series of tweets to his followers.
Many joined the award-winning artiste for his church service on Twitter by retweeting and quoting his tweets.
The one-hour service dominated the Twitter trends at number one.
Ministering from the book of Peter, Shatta Wale preached about hope in the face of the Coronavirus pandemic.
“1 Peter 5:10. Can we all open to the book of Peter which talks about hope ? Somebody shd read to us so we can all share #ChurchWithShatta”, he tweeted.
He told members of his virtual congregation to believe that the pandemic will be over soon.
After his sermon, Shatta Wale requested that his followers receive salvation and give their lives to Christ.
He later requested that they sing praises to God to end the church service.
